About our Impact Programs

Book Clubs

Our program is facilitated weekly with 3rd grade students throughout the entire school year. We provide the Avery and Masa original chapter book series that aligns with common core standards, emphasizes STEAM education, and engages students with a joy for reading. With your support, our book clubs have witnessed significant growth in reading proficiency scores. In the 2021-2022 school year, scores increased from 17% to 40.8%, and from 2022-2024 100% of students have either passed the EOG and/or exceeded their literacy growth goals.

Home Libraries

Our program provides free copies of the Avery and Masa chapter book series for our young learners to take home and build a home library. We promote at-home literacy, a joy of reading, and have provided 15,645 books of our 25,000 target goal.

Community Outreach

We provide literacy-based programming designed to bridge the summer gap, inspire young mentors, and celebrate our community partners.
